FRESHFORD SEE OFF GALLANT TIGERS

After disposing of Division One outfit, Bradford Town Reserves in the First round of this season’s PAH Accounting sponsored A&B Cup competition Chris Birleson’s Freshford United were paired with second division stablemates Trowbridge Town Tigers in the first of the Second round matches.

After falling behind to Tim Brown’s side, Freshford battled back to claim a 4-1.

Will Bayley’s goal for the Tigers was cancelled out by Jake Hale.

A second for Jake Gale after the break saw Freshford take a 2-1 lead, Mark Maguire made it 3-1 before Matt Bond put the hosts 4-1 up.

Corin Day scored a second for the Tigers, but it was little more than a consolation.
