MAGPIES SWOOP TO RECLAIM TOP SPOT
With Seend United missing out on a fixture, due to a waterlogged pitch at The Lye, Semington Magpies FC made the most of their inactivity. A 6-0 victory for Neil Taylor’s side saw them reclaim pole position in the Gooding Accounts sponsored Trowbridge League, First Division.
Magpies opened the scoring through Adam Mugondi, Spencer Frisby doubled the lead before a second from Mugondi gave the home side a 3-0 half time lead.
After the break, a second for Spencer Frisby made it 4-0. Adam Mugondi completed his hat trick before he netted his fourth of the afternoon to wrap up Magpies emphatic 6-0 success.

MAGNIFICENT MUHID HITS TREBLE AS DEVIZES WIN AT MELKSHAM
Melksham Town Development FC suffered a first defeat in 9 outings after they were beaten 4-0 away to a an ever improving FC Devizes United side who will see the result as a curtain raiser to their upcoming A&B and Knockout Cup semi-final meetings with Mike Coll’s side.
Devizes tore Melksham apart in the opening 24 minutes as they raced to a 4-0 lead, Kamran Muhid scored the opener on 3 minutes, doubled the Devizes lead with his second in the 6th minute and made it 3-0 to complete his hat trick on 16 minutes.
Zachary Bruce added the fourth and final goal in the 24th minute.

FRESHFORD PAY THE PENALTY AS HOLT BACK TO WINNING WAYS
Holt FC ended a 3 match winless run with a 2-0 victory over Freshford United in a match that only happened as the two sides switched it at the 11th hour from Browns Park Freshford, to the High Street Holt.
After a goalless first 45 minutes, the deadlock was finally broken by Nigel Tripp’s side on 50 minutes when Kieran Plummer scored from the penalty spot.
Holt made the points safe in the 77th minute, courtesy of a second penalty of the afternoon from Plummer, who held his nerve for a second time to secure the 2-0 win.

MAGNIFICENT 7 FOR STEELE
Chris Steele was the star man for Heytesbury & Codford in their home clash with basement side the Stiffs FC, Steele netted SEVEN of his teams goals in their 10-0 triumph that saw them move out of the drop zone at the expense of the inactive Dilton Marsh Wanderers who plummeted back into the drop zone.
Heytesbury & Codford were 4-0 up at half time, with Chris Steele scoring all four of the goals.
Dani Shiner added a fifth for the hosts before Steele, scored his fifth to made it 6-0. Kaicy Peniston fired home number 7, two more goals for Steele saw him claim his 7 timer.
The scoring was completed by Ben Brewer for whom it was his first goal for the club

MEAN DEAN DENIES GREYHOUND A DRAW
Hilperton Greyhound FC suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to third placed Frome Collegians AFC which leaves them just above the drop zone, which the win for Collegians consolidated their top three placing.
Josh Keay saw his opener for Collegians cancelled out by Harrison Simmonds whose effort took the teams into the break a 1 apiece.
The second half was edged by Collegians, with Dean Caslake scoring the only goal to seal a 2-1 win for Collegians.
