A&B CUP ROUND UP – 21st DECEMBER 2024

The Stiffs FC 0 Trowbridge Town Tigers FC 5

Tim Brown’s second division outfit Trowbridge Town Tigers FC booked their place in the quarter-finals of this seasons PAH Accounting sponsored A&B Cup after they roared to a 5-0 win over First division The Stiffs.

Both teams along with referee Neil Hawker should be praised for agreeing to a 12.00 kick-off time, especially as the match that was played on the 3G at Odd Down, Bath as Stiffs own pitch at Shaw, was unplayable.

Lewis Harford was the star of the show for the Tigers, with a hat trick, his putting Tigers ahead, Stiffs had the chance to restore parity, but saw Jake Davies have his penalty saved by Tigers keeper Nick Appleton.

Joel Granados-Reeves regained the lead for Tigers who led 2-1 at the break.

A second from Harford made it 3-0 before the he completed his hat trick with his 5th goal in his last 3 matches.

Will Bayley completed the scoring for the Tigers whose reward for their 5-0 victory is a trip to First division Holt FC on the 18th January.
