In what is probably likely to be the final Trowbridge League match for Ross Pugh’s Bradford Town Reserves side ahead of a potential move to the Wiltshire Senior League next season, the Bradfordians picked up a 1-0 triumph over FC Devizes United to secure the runners up spot in the Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored-Trowbridge & District Football League, First Division behind long time winners Seend United.

With the match scheduled for Bowerhill, Melksham, the recent bad weather left that venue unplayable and thanks to the efforts of the Bradford manager Pugh, the match was switch to Trowbridge Road.

In what was a keenly contested affair in tricky conditions a first half strike from Ottis Young separated the teams at both half and Full Time.
