COLLEGIANS PRODUCE ANOTHER HOUDINI ACT

Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored-Trowbridge & District Football League, First Division side Frome Collegians Reserves were in Somerset Junior Cup action and for a second successive round, Karl Freeman’s side produced a Houdini act as they came from behind to claim a 2-1 success.

Collegians fell behind at home to Perry Street & District League, Premier Division outfit South Petherton, but fought back to level prior to half time, Dean Carslake restoring parity.

Collegians knew that Lady Luck was on their side when an unfortunate South Petherton player turned the ball beyond his own keeper to hand the hosts their 2-1 win.
