PARK MARCH ON TO SEMI-FINALS

In an all Division Two tie, it was Park United who continued their marvellous season so far by beating Freshford United 4 -0 to make the last four of The A & B Cup sponsored by PAH Accounting.

Ben Selman opened the scoring for Park United in the first half as keeper Chris Birleson kept Freshford in the match with a penalty save.

After the break Freshford had Birleson to thank again as he made a superb second penalty save but he couldn’t stop a third going past him as Charlie Norman, Zac Hillier and Josh Salmon completed the scoring for an excellent Park United side.

Next weekend these teams face each other again at Freshford in the league where Park United will be looking to continue there bid to win The Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division Two title.

SEEND UNITED FC 1 TROWBRIDGE TOWN RESERVES FC 2

BISHOP BRACE SENDS TROWBRIDGE THROUGH

Trowbridge Town Reserves will face The Stiffs in the quarter finals of The PAH Accounting sponsored A & B Cup after a magnificent 2 – 1 win over Seend United.

In a hard-fought 2nd round match Seend United started well and Paul Gittens gave them a 1 -0 lead at the break.

Trowbridge Town Reserves are proving to be a tough team to beat this season and after soaking up a lot of pressure a Max Bishop brace was enough to send them into the last eight of the competition.

Next weekend Trowbridge Town Reserves are home to newly crowned champions Heytesbury FC while Seend United have a home game against The Duke where both teams will be looking for the points to finish in the top three of The Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division One.
