TROWBRIDGE TOWN DEVELOPMENT FC 2 HEYTESBURY RESERVES FC 3

YOUNGSTER HENRY WINS IT FOR HEYTESBURY

17-year-old Liam Henry scored the winner for Heytesbury Reserves to give his side their fifth league victory in The Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division Two in an exciting end-to-end game, helping his side to a 3 – 2 win over Trowbridge Town Development.

Bradley Edward also had an excellent afternoon, grabbing both of Heytesbury other goals, one from the penalty spot and the second a brilliant strike from the halfway line.

Nzaar Gimar scored both goals for Trowbridge Town Development with one of his also from the penalty spot.

Next weekend Trowbridge Town Development travel to Dilton Marsh Wanderers while Heytesbury Reserves will be looking to continue their good form when they host Hilperton Greyhound.


THE LODGE FC 1 ACES FC 6

ACES PUT LITTLE DENT IN LODGE CHANCES

Promotion hopefuls The Lodge had their hopes dented by a resurgent Aces FC who shocked their hosts with a brilliant performance, winning 6 – 1 to maintain a four-match unbeaten run in The Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division Two.

The Lodge just didn’t have an answer to an Aces pacey attack and the evergreen Mike Little took full advantage, helping himself to an excellent hat-trick.

His son Alfie Little also scored one with Junior Smart and William Self making up the six for Aces fifth league victory of the season.

James Reeves scored a late consolation for The Lodge who were also reduced to nine men after two players saw red.

Next weekend Aces will be hoping for a repeat performance of this week when they host another team in the promotion race, FC Devizes who after this result will be expecting a tough match.

The Lodge will have to be back to their best as they face a tricky visit to face The Stiffs.


BISHOPS CANNINGS FC 1 FC DEVIZES 7

SEVEN UP DEVIZES COMPLETE CANNINGS DOUBLE

After ending Bishops Cannings three match unbeaten run with a 2 – 1 win last weekend, FC Devizes completed a quick double this week with a more comprehensive 7 – 1 win to lift themselves up to third in The Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division Two.

Bishops Cannings did get off to a perfect start, shocking Devizes with an Anthony Freebody strike in the very first minute.

This only seemed to spur FC Devizes into action thou and two strikes from Carl Ledbury and one apiece from Archie Haggerty, Kian Fulford, Grant Bridewell, Oscar Webster and Jordan Anning completed the seven to keep Devizes very much in the promotion conversation.

Next weekend FC Devizes face a tricky trip to Bath to face the in-form Aces FC while Bishops Cannings will be looking to return to winning ways when they host struggling Staverton Rangers.


STAVERTON RANGERS FC 0 THE STIFFS FC 2

THE STIFFS BACK TO WINNING WAYS

The Stiffs made a welcome return to winning ways, picking up their first win since 15th October with a 2 – 0 win over Staverton Rangers in The Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division Two.

Two strikes from Jake Davies, one direct from a corner gave The Stiffs their third league victory of the season.

Next weekend The Stiffs are home to promotion hopefuls The Lodge while Staverton Rangers travel to face Bishops Cannings.
