TROWBRIDGE COMEBACK TO EARN POINT

Aces FC had a perfect start, taking the lead after 10 minutes through Reece Mortimer, an advantage they held until the break.
Aces came out in the second half and increased their lead five minutes after the restart through Chris Foley.
This seemed to spur Trowbridge Town Development into action and a penalty from Nzaar Gimar and a neat finish from Harry Trevor completed the comeback to earn Trowbridge a share of the points.
The point leaves Trowbridge in 3rd place in Division Two but they have played six games more than the teams directly below them.
Next weekend Trowbridge Town Development host Heytesbury Reserves while Aces FC travel to Warminster to face The Lodge.

FC DEVIZES 2 BISHOPS CANNINGS FC 1

After bowing out of The Wiltshire Junior Cup last time out, FC Devizes returned to league action with a 2 – 1 win against Bishops Cannings to re-join The Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division Two promotion race.
Goals from Kameron Muhid and Cameron Lee proved enough for Devizes to end Bishops Cannings three game unbeaten run.
Leo Griggs was on the scoresheet for Cannings who also hit the bar with three minutes left on the clock and may consider themselves unlucky not to steal a point.
Like The Lodge, FC Devizes are still very much in the promotion hunt as they are 10 points adrift of Bradford Town ‘A’ in second place but having played six games less than their rivals.
Next weekend, in a quirk of the fixtures these two teams meet again in the league, with no doubt Bishops Cannings hoping for a reverse of the score line.
