WILTSHIRE JUNIOR CUP – 3rd ROUND

The Trowbridge and District Football League will have at least three teams in the last eight of The Wiltshire Junior Cup after wins for Heytesbury, Seend United and FC Devizes United. The Duke FC will have the chance to make it four next week as their scheduled match this week was postponed.

CRICKLADE TOWN 2 HEYTESBURY FC 5

HEYTESBURY EASE INTO QUARTER FINALS

Trowbridge and District Division One league leaders Heytesbury eased into the quarter finals of The Wiltshire Junior Cup with an excellent 5 – 2 win against Cricklade Town.

Reece Collyer scored two for Heytesbury, one from the penalty spot. Kieran Green and Myles Woodward were also on target for Heytesbury.

Next weekend Heytesbury are without a fixture in The Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored League.


SEEND UNITED FC 2 NATIONWIDE FC 1

SEEND EDGE INTO LAST EIGHT

Trowbridge and District Division One side Seend United edged into the last eight of The Wiltshire Junior Cup with a hard fought 2 – 1 win against Nationwide FC.

Goals from Mark Reynolds and Ben Ryder proved to be enough to send Seend United into the quarter finals of the competition.

Next weekend Seend United return to their challenge for the Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division One title as they host Melksham Town Development.


SHERSTON TOWN FC 2 FC DEVIZES 4

DEVIZES INTO THE QUARTERS

FC Devizes moved into the quarter finals of The Wiltshire Junior Cup with an excellent 4 – 2 win after their trip to Sherston Town.

Jordan Anning led the way for the Trowbridge and District Division Two team, helping himself to a brace.

Cameron Lee and Dalton Bridewell were also on the scoresheet for FC Devizes.

Next weekend FC Devizes return to league action and will continue their promotion challenge with a visit to Aces FC.
