RYDER LEADS SEEND INTO NEXT ROUND

Seend United from The Trowbridge and District Football league eased into the next round of The Wiltshire Junior Cup with a 4 – 2 win against Porton Sports.

Two goals from Ben Ryder and one each from Paul Gittins and Mark Reynolds saw the Trowbridge team into round two.

GREYHOUND INTO NEXT ROUND

In an all Trowbridge and District Football League clash it was Hilperton Greyhound who came out on top and progressed into the next round of The Wiltshire Junior Cup with an excellent 3 – 0 victory.

A header from Spencer Frisby opened the scoring for Greyhound with Harvey Frisby adding a second after a great solo run.

A brilliant free kick from Simon Parfitt, who gave the Cannings keeper no chance was the icing on the cake for Hilperton Greyhound and secured their place in the next round.


THE STIFFS FC 2 FC DEVIZES UNITED FC 5

DEVIZES REPEAT LEAGUE FORM IN CUP

In a repeat of their league fixture last weekend FC Devizes United progressed into the next round of The Wiltshire Junior Cup with a 5 – 2 win over The Stiffs.

Cam Lee helped himself to a hat-trick for FC Devizes with further strikes from Jordan Anning and Lewis Hawkins proving enough to send his team into the next round.

A 25-yard strike from Luke Saunderson and a penalty from Steve Lewin were the replies for The Stiffs.
