The game of the day in The Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division One saw league leaders Heytesbury edge past Westbury United Reserves in a very tight hard-fought match.
The decisive moment of the game came in the 12th minute when prolific striker Jake Wright converted a Reece Collyer corner to maintain Heytesbury FCs perfect start to the season and to complete a league double over Westbury United Reserves.
Next weekend Heytesbury will be confident of continuing their perfect start to the season when they pay a visit to bottom side Bromham FC while Westbury United Reserves will be looking to return to winning ways when they entertain Melksham Town Development.

THE DUKE KEEP PRESSURE ON AT THE TOP

Defending Champions, The Duke FC kept up the pressure at the top of The Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division One with a 3 – 1 win against a spirited Bromham FC.
First half goals from Brandon Wheeler and Richie Crocker gave The Duke a 2 – 0 lead at the break.
Drew Adams made sure that The Duke was collecting all the points from this match with his sides third in the second half to keep The Duke in touch with Heytesbury at the top of the league.
Despite still being winless, this was a much-improved performance by Bromham FC and a second-half strike from Caleb Englefield ensured that The Duke could never really relax.
Next weekend Bromham entertain Heytesbury FC while The Duke have a weekend off.
TROWBRIDGE TOWN RESERVES FC 6 SHREWTON UNITED DEVELOPMENT FC 2
SUPER TROWBRIDGE HIT SHREWTON FOR SIX

Trowbridge Town Reserves picked up their second win of the season with an impressive 6 – 2 win against Shrewton United Development and rose to third place in The Gooding Accounts Ltd sponsored Division One.
Max Bishop was the star of the day, bagging himself four of Trowbridge’s goals.
Chris Steele and Ryan Stevens from the spot made up the six for the home side.
Callum Bowers and Tyler Hull were on the scoresheet for Shrewton.
In a quirk of fixtures Shrewton United Development will have a quick chance for revenge as they host Trowbridge Town Reserves next weekend in the reverse of this league fixture.
