The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatives sponsored Division Two concluded this evening when Aces FC faced promotion winners and Knockout Cup finalists Potterne FC in their final league match of the season.

POTTERNE END PROMOTION SEASON WITH WIN
Potterne FC ended an extremely successful promotion season with a hard-fought 2 – 1 win away to Aces FC in The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division Two.
Potterne started the game on the front foot and took an early lead when Tom Lye put them ahead after 5 minutes.
For the rest of the first half the match was even, and Aces equalised on the stoke of half time through Junior Smart.
Ten minutes after the break Alex Surman put Potterne ahead again.
For the remainder of the match Aces took the game to Potterne and missed several clear cut chances but failed to convert any of them.
Aces were denied an equaliser with 5 minutes to go but had a goal disallowed by the referee as Potterne held out for the points.
