The groups are all heading to an exciting conclusion in The Spring Cup – sponsored by Gooding Accounts Ltd and there are still quarter final places up for grabs.
GROUP A
POTTERNE FC 3 HILPERTON UNITED 3
HILPERTON AND POTTERNE SHARE SIX GOALS


Despite both teams having already qualified for the quarter finals of this year’s Spring Cup – sponsored by Gooding Accounts, Potterne FC and Hilperton United shared six goals in an entertaining 3 – 3 draw in a battle to top Group A.
Kieran Ramsey, Jack Sterling and the prolific Luke Murden scored the goals for Hilperton with a brace from Matt Tilly and a strike from Ash Huntley in reply for Potterne.
It was Potterne who eventually topped Group A with a better goal difference .
MELKSHAM TOWN DEVELOPMENT 3 FRESHFORD UNITED 0
MELKSHAM FINISH GROUP WITH A WIN

Melksham Town Development and Freshford United finished their Group A fixtures with Melksham running out 3 – 0 winners in an entertaining match.
Morgan Ackerman led the way for Melksham with a brace while Senad Shimaj also wrote himself on the scoresheet adding the third.
Melksham just missed out on the quarter final spots, finishing third in Group A, with Freshford United in fourth.
GROUP B
THE DUKE FC 2 HEYTESBURY FC 3
HEYTESBURY KEEP UP PERFECT RECORD

Heytesbury kept up their perfect record in Group B, making it seven wins from seven by beating The Duke 3 – 2 to inflict a second straight defeat for The Division One champions.
Heytesbury got off to an excellent start with Jake Wright opening the scoring after five minutes, but the home side found themselves behind at the break as The Duke responded with a double from Tom Blackman.
A change of formation at half-time paid immediate dividends for Heytesbury as Jake Wright scored his second 20 seconds after the restart to level the match.
A header from Callum Hotine on the hour mark proved to be the winner for Heytesbury.
Despite the defeat The Duke have qualified from Group B alongside Heytesbury with the return match between these sides being the last fixture to determine who wins the group.
GROUP C
DILTON MARSH WANDERERS 0 WESTBURY UNITED RESERVES 0
STALEMATE FOR WANDERERS AND WESTBURY


Dilton Marsh Wanderers and Westbury United Reserves faced each other twice this weekend in an exciting Group C double-header and in this first match both teams fought out a goal-less match which confirmed a quarter final place for both teams in this season’s Spring Cup – sponsored by Gooding Accounts Ltd.
WESTBURY UNITED RESERVES 2 DILTON MARSH WANDERERS 1
WESTBURY EDGE GAME IN DOUBLE-HEADER

In the second match of this double-header Westbury United Reserves took the lead through Todd Pearce before Callum Crabb scored a fantastic equaliser for Dilton.
The decisive goal for Westbury was scored by Max Bishop.
The result means that Westbury United Reserves top Group C with 16 points with two games remaining. Dilton Marsh Wanderers are two points behind in second place with just the one group match left.
THE STIFFS 2 BROMHAM OWLS 3
OWLS COME OUT ON TOP IN FIVE GOAL THRILLER

Despite knowing that neither team could make the quarter finals of this year’s Spring Cup – sponsored by Gooding Accounts Ltd, The Stiffs and Bromham Owls served up an excellent game with The Owls running out 3 – 2 winners.
Samuel Wallis, Archie Green and Macauley Chamberlain were on the scoresheet for Bromham with The Stiffs goals being an own goal and a Tom Wilkes penalty.
Both teams have one fixture remaining which could have an influence who eventually wins group C with Bromham hosting Westbury United Reserves and The Stiffs entertaining Dilton Marsh Wanderers, both on April 5th.
GROUP D
BRADFORD TOWN ‘A’ 5 SEMINGTON MAGPIES 2
BRADFORD BEAT MAGPIES TO MAKE QUARTER FINALS

Bradford Town ‘A’ produced an excellent performance in beating Division One side Semington Magpies 5 – 2 in Group D of The Spring Cup – sponsored by Gooding Accounts, and in doing so qualified for the quarter finals of the competition.
Two goals from Freddie Fenton and one each from Tyler Robinson, Oliver Felstead and Harvey Brock saw Bradford Town ‘A’ into the last eight.
Tyler Dagger scored both goals for Semington Magpies whose interest in the competition came to an end.
WESTBURY UNITED ‘A’ 0 SEEND UNITED 5
WHEELER HAT-TRICK DECISIVE FOR SEEND

Prolific striker DJ Wheeler scored an excellent hat-trick to keep Seend United at the top of Group D in a 5 – 0 win against Westbury United ‘A’.
Ben Ryder and Ryan Nichols scored the other two goals for the Division Two champions.
Westbury United ‘A’ fought to the very last minute and had goalkeeper Keir Doherty to thank for several outstanding saves to stop an outstanding Seend team from scoring more.
