The quarter finals of The A & B Cup – sponsored by AM Print & Copy took place this weekend with four exciting ties that were hard to call and could have gone either way.

HEYTESBURY FC 5 DILTON MARSH WANDERERS 2

HEYTESBURY INTO LAST FOUR

Heytesbury FC avoided a potential banana skin as they safely progressed into the semi-finals of The A & B Cup – sponsored by AM Print & Copy by beating Division Two side Dilton Marsh Wanderers 5 – 2.

Dilton started well and took the lead through Callum Crabb with a stunning free kick. Heytesbury struck back to level the match and took the lead from the spot.

Heytesbury made it 3 – 1 before the break before Dan Bryce pulled one back for the Division Two side.

As Dilton tried to push for the equaliser Heytesbury broke away twice to score two more to secure their spot in the semi – finals.

Sam Wright struck twice for Heytesbury with further efforts from Adam Welch, Jake Wright and Reece Collyer from 12 yards.


HILPERTON UNITED 6 BROMHAM OWLS 1

MILBURN HAT-TRICK SENDS HILPERTON THROUGH

A hat-trick from Liam Milburn helped Hilperton United into the semi-finals of The A & B Cup – sponsored by AM Print & Copy as they saw off brave Division Two side Bromham Owls 6 – 1.

Further strikes from Dan Plank, Alfie Francis and Ryan Underwood saw Hilperton comfortably into the last four.

Harry Ringwald was on the scoresheet for Bromham Owls.


POTTERNE FC 6 WESTBURY UNITED RESERVES 0

POTTERNE SHOCK WESTBURY TO REACH SEMI-FINALS

Division Two promotion winners Potterne FCs season is getting better and better as they shocked Division One side Westbury United Reserves, thumping them 6 – 0 to send them into the last four of The A & B Cup – sponsored by AM Print & Copy.

Luke Enderby led the way for Potterne, scoring an excellent hat-trick.

A goal each from Wayne House, Alex Surman and Andy Rossiter was the icing on the cake for Potterne who are on an excellent run and will be fancying their chances against anybody on current form.
