Trowbridge and District Division One side Marshfield FC played hosts to DRG SV Frenchay Reserves in the semi-final of The Gloucestershire Intermediate Cup hoping to secure a place in the prestigious final.

Trowbridge and District Division One side Marshfield FC made it through to the final of The Gloucestershire Intermediate Cup South Final with an excellent penalty spot kick victory over DRG SV Frenchay Reserves.
After a goal-less ninety minutes both teams faced 30 minutes extra time.
Mel King scored for Marshfield, but DRG levelled to send the game into a penalty shootout. In an exciting finale it was Marshfield who held their nerve to progress into the final 5 – 4.
