The second round of The A & B Cup sponsored by AM Print & Copy took place this weekend with seven ties taking place, the pick seeing Division One title favourites The Duke FC facing Heytesbury FC.

VINTILEANU HAT-TRICK ENDS DUKE FC MARCH

Heytesbury FC moved into the hat for the next round of The A & B Cup sponsored by AM Print & Copy with an outstanding 4 – 0 win over league leaders The Duke FC.
Heytesbury got off to a perfect start, going into the lead after only 58 seconds when a Duke defender headed into his own goal from an Adam Welch cross.
Vintileanu got his first after 13 minutes from a free kick and grabbed his second from another free kick on the half hour mark.
Vintileanu completed his hat-trick scoring from the spot on the hour to complete a memorable afternoon for him and a rare defeat for The Duke FC.
SEMINGTON MAGPIES 2 POTTERNE FC 4
MAGPIES HAVE WINGS CLIPPED

Division Two promotion winners Potterne FC had perhaps the result of the afternoon with an excellent 4 – 2 win over in-form Division One side Semington Magpies.
Goals from Andy Rossiter, Jack Bramwell, Darren Lewis and Ash Huntley completed the victory for Potterne putting them in the hat for the next round of The A & B Cup sponsored by AM Print & Copy.
Mike Little and Tyler Dagger were on the scoresheet for Semington Magpies.
MARSHFIELD FC 1 HILPERTON UNITED 2
HILPERTON COME FROM BEHIND TO PROGRESS

Hilperton United came from behind to progress into the next round of The A & B Cup sponsored by AM Print & Copy with a 2 – 1 win from their visit to Marshfield FC.
A goal from Joe Williamson gave Marshfield the lead at the break in an even first half.
After the break Hilperton improved and levelled the match when Rhys Fricker headed home from a corner.
Jack Sterling was on the scoresheet to grab the winner for Hilperton to put them in the draw for the next round.
SEEND UNITED 13 ACES FC 0
BAKERS DOZEN FOR SEEND UNITED

Free-scoring Seend United had a comfortable afternoon, moving into the next round of The A & B Cup sponsored by AM Print & Copy with a 13 – 0 win over Aces FC.
Matt Purdy led the way, adding to his season total with four goals.
Ben Ryder helped himself to a hat-trick and Nick Mead grabbed a brace.
Ryan Nicholls, Jake Sainsbury, Tom Rooney and Derek Wheeler scored one each to complete the scoring for Seend United
CALNE EAGLES 0 WESTBURY UNITED RESERVES 3
COMFORTABLE WIN FOR WESTBURY

Westbury United Reserves eased into the next round of The A & B Cup sponsored by AM Print & Copy with a comfortable 3 – 0 win from their visit to Calne Eagles.
Hamza Radham scored the first for Westbury to give them an advantage at the break.
Second half goals from Kye Teague and Max Bishop saw Westbury United Reserves safely into the next round of the competition.
STAVERTON RANGERS 1 DILTON MARSH WANDERERS 3
STILLMAN DOUBLE HELP WANDERERS SEE OFF RANGERS

Division Two side Dilton Marsh Wanderers had an excellent 3 – 1 win against Staverton Rangers from Division One to move into the next round of The A & B Cup sponsored by AM Print & Copy.
Liam Lawes gave Dilton the lead midway through the first half following up from Ollie Cole’s driven shot.
Loui Stillman scored his first of the afternoon, heading home a corner from Ollie Cole to increase Diltons advantage before the break.
Staverton Rangers struck back at the start of the second half scoring through Wiktor Wnuk and then pushed hard for an equaliser but found Dilton Marsh Wanderers resolute in defence.
Loui Stillman made the game safe for Dilton, scoring his second of the afternoon with a late strike to complete an outstanding result for the Division Two team.
BROMHAM OWLS 3 WARMINSTER TOWN RESERVES 1
OWLS SWOOP INTO NEXT ROUND

Division Two team Bromham Owls had an excellent afternoon in The A & B Cup sponsored by AM Print & Copy seeing off Division One side Warminster Town Reserves 3 – 1.
Samuel Wallis led the way for The Owls scoring a brace with Tyler Beattie scoring the third.
Seb Hounsell was on the scoresheet for a disappointed Warminster Town Reserves.
