With football returning after the festive break The Knockout Cup sponsored by Chantry Digital Ltd took centre stage with five ties beating the weather and taking place on Saturday afternoon.
HEYTESBURY 6 SEMINGTON MAGPIES 2
HEYTESBURY HALF DOZEN SEE OFF MAGPIES

After losing 5 – 0 in the league to Semington Magpies in the last game before Christmas Heytesbury can take some consolation in starting the new year by knocking the Magpies out of The Knockout Cup sponsored by Chantry Digital Ltd with a comprehensive 6 – 2 victory.
With the game tied 1 – 1 at the break Heytesbury had a scoring spree in the second period.
Two goals from Sam Wright and a strike each from Sam McEntee, Dan Dicks, Adrian Vintileanu and Adam Welch saw Heytesbury safely into the next round.
James Cox and Mark Maguire were on the scoresheet for a disappointed Semington Magpies.
HILPERTON UNITED 4 ACES FC 0
HILPERTON EASE INTO NEXT ROUND

Division One title hopefuls Hilperton United eased past a spirited Aces FC from Division Two with a comfortable 4 – 0 win to earn a place in the next round of The Knockout Cup sponsored by Chantry Digital Ltd.
Adam Mercer led the way for the Division One side helping himself to a brace.
Jake Samuel and Ben Spong added one each to complete the scoring.
SEEND UNITED 12 STAVERTON RANGERS 0
SEEND CRUISE INTO NEXT ROUND

Division Two champions Seend United cruised into the next round of The Knockout Cup sponsored by Chantry Digital Ltd with a comprehensive 12 – 0 victory against an under-strength Staverton Rangers.
In typical fashion for Seend they spread the goals around the team with a brace apiece for Matt Purdy, Jake Sainsbury and Ben Ryder.
Single efforts from Adam Potter, Simon Parfitt, Mark Reynolds, Paul Gittens, Nick Mead and Jack Booth made up the dozen for Seend United.
FRESHFORD UNITED 5 BRADFORD TOWN ‘A’ 1
CUP SUCCESS FOR FRESHFORD

After a difficult league season Freshford United tasted some success in the second round of The Knockout Cup sponsored by Chantry Digital Ltd, beating lower division opponents Bradford Town ‘A’ 5 – 1.
Alex Ladner led the way for Freshford with a brace.
Harry Riley, Mitchell Hamber and Dan Sandford were all on target for Freshford United securing a place in the next round.
Tyler Robinson scored the consolation for Bradford Town ‘A’.
MARSHFIELD FC 1 POTTERNE FC 2
POTTERNE TOPPLE MARSHFIELD

After securing promotion to Division One just before Christmas Potterne FC continued their excellent season by beating Division One side Marshfield 2 – 1 to secure a place in the next round of The Knockout Cup sponsored by Chantry Digital Ltd.
Andy Rossiter led the way for Potterne, helping himself to both of his team goals.
Adam Taylor was on the scoresheet for Marshfield.
THE STIFFS v CALNE EAGLES – HOME WIN

This second round match of The Knockout Cup sponsored by Chantry Digital Ltd was awarded to The Stiffs as unfortunately, Calne Eagles were unable to raise a team this weekend.
