The second round draw for this season’s AM Print & Copy sponsored A&B Cup competition has been made and like the second round of the Knockout Cup has conjured up a number of eye-catching matches.

The tie of the round unquestionably being the all Division one duel between The Duke FC and Heytesbury, closely followed by the clash between Marshfield and Hilperton United who reached this stage with a narrow 2-1 away at Bradford Town ‘A’.

Division one outfit Semington Magpies will entertain second division promotion hopefuls Potterne, while division two champions Seend United who beat Melksham Town Development at the weekend host Aces FC.

Warminster Town Reserves edged a thrilling penalty shoot-out (9-8) against The Stiffs to claim a second round trip to second division Bromham Owls, who should be more than a match for the Division one visitors.

Elsewhere, Calne Eagles will have the welcome mat out for Westbury United Reserves.  Second division, Dilton Marsh Wanderers travel to Staverton Rangers and another second division outfit that will be on the road are Shrewton United Development who travel to Division one basement side Freshford United looking to cause an upset.

Matches are scheduled for Saturday 15th January 2022 – Kick-Off  1.30pm

If the scores are level after 90 minutes, a period of 30 minutes extra time (15 minutes each-way) will be played. If the scores remain level after extra time, the match will be decided on penalties.
