DIVISION TWO ROUND UP FOR 11TH DECEMBER
The game of the day in The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division Two saw third placed Bromham Owls host fellow promotion challengers Potterne FC with the visitors hoping to claim one of the two victory’s they need to secure higher division football next year.

POTTERNE FC ONE WIN FROM PROMOTION

Potterne FC are now just one victory away from winning promotion from The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division two after completing the double over Bromham Owls with this 4 – 1 win.
Ash Huntley had a fantastic afternoon helping himself to all four of the Potterne goals.
Taylor Ellicock was on the scoresheet for Bromham Owls who slipped to fourth in the Division Two table after this defeat.
CALNE EAGLES 2 ACES FC 2
EAGLES COME BACK TWICE TO SHARE POINTS


Calne Eagles came from behind twice to share the points in a 2 – 2 draw against Aces FC in this Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division Two clash
. Aces took the lead through an own goal before Jay Watkins equalised for Calne Eagles to send the teams in level at the break.
In the second half Junior Smart struck to restore the lead for Aces before Jay Watkins scored his second to level the match again earning both teams a point each
SHREWTON UNITED DEVELOPMENT 3 DILTON MARSH WANDERERS 1
SHREWTON UNITED DEVELOPMENT UP TO THIRD

Shrewton United Development moved up to third place in The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division Two with an excellent 3 – 1 win against Dilton Marsh Wanderers.
In a tight first half Shrewton struck twice in the final five minutes through Sam Webb and James Collins to give themselves a two-goal advantage at the break.
Early in the second half a Will Andrews strike made it 3 – 0 to Shrewton. Dilton Marsh Wanderers refused to give up and were unlucky not to pull one goal back when a spectacular volley from Shane Rendall forced an equally great save from the Shrewton United Development keeper.
Rob Clarke did pull one back for Dilton Marsh with 20 minutes left but try as they might couldn’t force any more goals as Shrewton United Development saw the game out well to earn the points.
