Second division, Bradford Town ‘A’ host First division title hopefuls Hilperton United on Friday evening in the opening tie of this season’s AM Print & Copy sponsored A&B Cup competition.

The match that kicks-off at 7-30pm at the Bradford On Avon Sports & Social Club, Trowbridge Road, Bradford has all the making of being a classic cup encounter that will see the hosts looking to cause an upset, while the visitors will be out to avoid a potential banana skin.

Bradford’s match with Hilperton is the first of 3 First Round matches. The other two which are scheduled for 1.30pm on Saturday afternoon are the clash at Rusty Lane, Seend between Division Two champions Seend United and Division One outfit Melksham Town Development who are managed by former Seend boss Lewis McMullen.

The remaining tie at St Mary’s Steeple Ashton, will see hosts The Stiffs as massive underdogs for the visit of First division, Warminster Town Reserves who will be looking to bounce back from last weeks Knockout Cup exit at the hands of Seend United.
