DIVISION ONE ROUND UP FOR 27th NOVEMBER
This weekend in The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division One league leaders Hilperton United played hosts to Semington Magpies while second placed The Duke travelled to face Marshfield FC.
HILPERTON UNITED 1 SEMINGTON MAGPIES 3
MAGPIES DENT HILPERTON TITLE HOPES

Semington Magpies put a huge dent in the title ambitions of Hilperton United this weekend with a 3 – 1 win from their visit to a windy Whaddon Road.
Semington got off to the best possible start when Dave Percival capitalised on a defensive mistake to put the visitors ahead.
In a game where both teams tried to play football in difficult conditions but struggled to create many chances, on the half hour mark Jake Samuel showed a bit of quality when he latched onto a Dan Plank header to dink the ball over the advancing keeper to take the sides in level at the break.
After an even start to the second half a five-minute spell just after the hour saw the game swing the Magpies way and may prove decisive in deciding the title race in The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division One.
Ciaran Taylor scored the second goal for Semington and shortly after David Percival grabbed his second of the afternoon from the spot. The hosts found themselves down to ten men after a handball in the box stopped a goal-bound effort which led to the penalty being awarded.
Hilperton United did their best to force themselves back into the match but found the Semington defence holding firm to hold onto the points.
This results cements Semington Magpies fifth position in the league but means Hilperton now drop into second.
