WILTSHIRE JUNIOR CUP – 1ST ROUND

The top two teams in The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division One met each other in the 1st round of The Wiltshire Junior Cup as The Duke FC entertained Hilperton United in an excellent advert for The Trowbridge and District Football League.

DUKE MARCH ON IN EXCELLENT GAME

In an excellent advert for The Trowbridge and District Football League, the top two teams in Division One met in the first round of The Wiltshire Junior Cup and the game went all the way with The Duke FC edging out Hilperton United in a penalty shoot-out.

In a hugely competitive contest that swung one way then another The Dukes goals were scored by Jack Hayward, Owen Hunter and Drew Adams. Hilperton United responded with strikes from Ryan Underwood, Luke Murden and a screamer from Finn Young to make the score 3 – 3 and take the game straight to a penalty shoot-out.

After eight penalties each The Duke finally secured a place in the next round winning 6 – 5.


WARMINSTER UNITED v DILTON MARSH WANDERERS – AWAY WIN

Dilton Marsh Wanderers were awarded an away win and a free pass into the 2nd round of The Wiltshire Junior Cup as unfortunately, Warminster United have withdrawn from the league.
