SEMINGTON MAGPIES 1 WARMINSTER TOWN RESERVES 0
MITCHELL WINS IT FOR MAGPIES

After having a free week last weekend Semington Magpies returned to action today and continued their excellent form with a 1 – 0 win against Warminster Town Reserves.
In a very tight game, the evergreen Bobby Mitchell proved to be the difference scoring the only goal of the game to hand the points to The Magpies.
MELKSHAM TOWN DEVELOPMENT 0 WESTBURY UNITED RESERVES 2
WESTBURY END MELKSHAM RUN

Westbury United Reserves arrived to face Melksham Town Development fully aware of Melksham excellent form and were well prepared to have to fight hard to get anything out of this game.
Westbury started the game on the front foot playing some excellent passing football but found the Melksham defence resolute and failed to take advantage of a few half chances that they created. It wasn’t until the 24th minute that Westbury found the breakthrough when Max Bishop found himself through on goal and slotted home to put Westbury United Reserves ahead.
This seemed to inspire Melksham into action, and they came into the game more pushing forward and moving the ball well creating two good chances to equalise, but they found the Westbury keeper in good form to keep Westbury in the lead at the break. Westbury started the second half the same as the first, pushing forward looking for their second goal but again found the Melksham defence hard to break down. It wasn’t until the 72nd minute that Westbury found the net again when Louis Wilkins put the game out of Melksham Town Developments reach with a confident finish and to hand Westbury United Reserves a very hard won three points.
