DIVISION ONE ROUND UP FOR 2nd OCTOBER
After this weekend matches the top four sides in The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division One have all completed half of their league fixtures. As they look to the second half of the season The Duke FC lead the way closely followed by Hilperton United and Heytesbury FC. In second and third place respectively.
HILPERTON WIN AGAIN
HILPERTON UNITED 3 MELKSHAM TOWN DEVELOPMENT 1

Hilperton United kept up their challenge for The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division One title but were made to fight all the way to beat a very determined Melksham Town Development side 3 – 1.
The match was moved to Hilperton’s ground at Whaddon Lane as Melksham’s pitch was unplayable and in horrible conditions goals from Jack Sterling, Luke Murden and a sublime effort from Jake Hiscock saw Hilperton to a fifth consecutive victory.
Aaron Masson was on the scoresheet for Melksham Town Development who had spells of excellent football but just couldn’t convert their chances. Melksham also had a player stand in between the posts as they lost their keeper to injury in the second half.
HEYTESBURY 6 SEMINGTON MAGPIES 4
HEYTESBURY KEEP UP THE CHASE

Heytesbury FC will start the second half of the season in third place in The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division One just one point behind second place Hilperton and four points off The Duke FC at the top with the same number of games played.
Heytesbury ended the first half of their league season with a creditable 6 – 4 win against a very good Semington Magpies team. Sam Wright led the way grabbing himself a hat-trick.
Ash Kinkead and Jake Wright with an own goal completed the scoring for the home team. Kalum Townsend, Mark Maguire and Chris Foley was on the scoresheet for Semington Magpies with another own goal making up their four.
