Seven of the spin for leaders The Duke

The Duke FC made it seven wins out of seven at the top of The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division One but were made to fight all the way in their 2 – 1 win against Marshfield.

James Gardner opened the scoring for Marshfield before a 25-yard screamer from Tom Blackman sent the teams in level at the break. Joe Moloney secured the points for The Duke with a free kick from fully 30 yards out which was despatched into the top right-hand corner of the net.


Heytesbury FC 7 Freshford United FC 1

Heytesbury win big to stay in second spot

Heytesbury are keeping the pressure on at the top of The Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories sponsored Division One with a 7 – 1 win from their visit to Freshford United.

Two goals apiece from Dan Bryce and Jake Wright with a strike each from Sam Wright, Sean Snook and Callum Hotine keeps Heytesbury second in the table three points off The Duke.

Richard Clark was on the scoresheet for Freshford United.


Hilperton United FC 4 Westbury United Reserves FC 1

Win keeps Hilperton in touch with top sides

After suffering a blip in form a few weeks ago Hilperton United are back on track with an important 4 – 1 win over fellow title hopefuls Westbury United Reserves.

A Liam Milburn lob and an excellent strike direct from a free kick by Jake Hiscocks gave Hilperton a two-goal lead. Ryan Underwood scored the third just before the break after turning the centre back inside the box and slotting home. Ben Spong scored Hilperton’s fourth with Chris Steele on the mark for Westbury United Reserves.

Hilperton United sit in third place in Division One with Westbury dropping to fifth in what is looking to be an exciting title race.


Warminster Town Reserves 0 Semington Magpies 1

Magpies fly up the table after latest win

After losing their first three games of the season Semington Magpies moved up to fourth place in the Trowbridge Windows and Conservatories Division One with their fourth straight victory following a 1 – 0 win from their visit to Warminster Town Reserves.

A strike from Jamie Phillips proved to be the difference between the two teams.


Melksham Town Development FC 4 Staverton Rangers 0

Alford stars as Melksham win in style

Melksham Town Development produced one of their best performances of the season to date with an excellent display to beat Staverton Rangers 4 – 0.

Two goals from Sam Alford and one each from Aaron Masson and Senad Shimaj gave Melksham their second win of the season lifting them to seventh in the league.
